Gandhi Chair at the University of Alberta
We are actively seeking large corporate and individual donors for
establishing Mahatma Gandhi Chair at the University of Alberta. The
amount for this Chair will require at least 3 million dollars. One
generous member of the Indian Community has already committed the sum
of $100,000 for this project.
In this ever changing and conflicting world, we feel it is timely to
promote Gandhian principles of peace and non-violence. If we succeed
in this project, the Gandhi Chair will be the first of its kind in any
Canadian university.
